Ar. Milind Ranadive

Milind Ranadive (DOB 10-05-72) Graduated as an architect from Shivaji University, Kolhapur in 1995. He worked with Ar. Shirish Beri, Kolhapur between 1995 to 2000 and ‘Z’ Architecture Company, Taipei, Taiwan in 2001. In 2004, he formed ‘Synthesis Design Workplace’ an architectural partnership firm with Ar. Sikandar Nadaph.

He has keen interest in Nature, Traditional, Vernacular Architecture. His eco friendly house ‘Paschima’ was awarded ‘Green residence award’ by The Indian Institute of Architects.

His first short film ‘Khopa’, won the First Prize, second short film 'Paschima', was awarded second prize. Both were honored by the hands of Chief Minister. These films were screened in Kolhapur international film festivals.

He was invited as guest speaker in many institutes in India and from Tamkung University- Taiwan, GAFA- China. His works were published in many National magazines.

His passion is sketching, writing, Travelling. He Travelled almost every corner of India and about 22 countries.

Joined Beri Architects and Engineers Pvt.Ltd., Kolhapur. Worked on various Architectural designs, projects and Institutional campuses, hospitals etc.
2001
Joined Z Architecture Company, Taipei, Taiwan, worked with Urban Designer Ti- Nan-Chi on various urban design projects, plazas.
2002
Worked as an Independent Architect.
2003
Formed Synthesis Design Workplace, an architectural partnership firm with Ar. Sikandar Nadaph

Was guest speaker in Tamkung UniversityTaipei, Taiwan. Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
Conducted workshop with IIID and DYP College of Architecture,Kolhapur.

Gave talk in various Architectural colleges in and around Kolhapur. Helped in designing an urban design project - President Plaza for Taipei govt. Taiwan. Was active team member for designing Ideal Kolhapur road. Was active team member of designing Entrance Gate for KMC on Pune - Bangalore highway.
